Terms of Service

1. About MetaMethod Creator Payout

MetaMethod Creator Payout ("MMCP") is the internal tool Metamethod, Lda (NIF 516335219), Portugal uses to record Content Program work, calculate payouts from its rate card and issue payout remittances. These terms apply to everyone who signs in to it.

2. Access

  • Approved personnel only: you can sign in only with a Discord account MetaMethod has approved. Keep your Discord account secure and never share your session.
  • Withdrawal: MetaMethod may remove access at any time, for example when someone leaves the team.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Use MMCP only to administer the Content Program: attributing videos, running and approving payout reports and recording payments.
  • Do not copy creator data or payout figures outside MetaMethod except to pay creators or for accounting.
  • Do not try to bypass sign-in, read data you were not meant to see, or disrupt the service.

4. Payout Calculations

  • Rate card: payouts follow the rate card published to Content Program members. Rates are subject to change; every report records the rate card version it used.
  • Figures: amounts are calculated from platform analytics and entered data and may be corrected when those numbers change. Corrections are made through adjustments and recorded in the audit log.
  • Remittances: a payout remittance is a statement of services paid. It is not an invoice (fatura) for Portuguese tax purposes; creators are responsible for their own tax obligations.

5. Confidentiality

Creator personal data, payout amounts, payment details and unpublished content are confidential. Treat everything you see in MMCP accordingly.

6. Availability

MMCP is provided as is. MetaMethod keeps daily backups but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MetaMethod is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of MMCP. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are subject to the courts of the district of Aveiro, Portugal.
